Reproducible checks

Keep an untouched fixture and hash every file. Open without editing and compare hashes; then make one intended edit and compare its exact diff. Test attachments, cancellation, conflicts and entitlement expiry separately.

Report scope

Publish build, fixture inventory, expected differences and failures. A simulator file test cannot establish inference performance or hardware compatibility. Qualified results remain a separate release gate.

Editorial trust

Sources, method, and update policy

Product claims are checked against the current app. Competitor claims use dated official sources. Corrections can be sent to alpaca-labs.dev@proton.me.
