Mac, iPad and iPhone Compatibility

Mac, iPad and iPhone belong to the same product direction. The supported model and workflow still depend on the device, memory and operating system.

Evidence boundaries

  • Independent model reviews remain at zero; no hardware benchmark is inferred from simulator UI.
Local UI/file checks distinguished from unqualified model and hardware results

Choose by the work you do.

Mac is the Pro workspace for longer keyboard sessions and Markdown work. iPad is the place for Pencil, diagrams and mixed-input notes. iPhone keeps quick capture and reading close at hand.

These roles are the launch direction. They do not mean that every Apple device can run every local model.

Model files are only one requirement.

Downloads consume storage; inference also requires available working memory. A model fitting on disk is not proof that it runs comfortably alongside the editor.

Text, handwriting recognition and multi-note summaries have different workloads. Setup, temperature, battery and repeated use deserve separate measurements.

What a useful result should include.

Each published result should identify device, OS, app build, model, task, input and installed assets. Report completion, failures, duration and a review of the actual output.

Simulator checks, vendor recommendations and development examples do not replace physical-device measurements or independent language review.

Measured requirements will go here.

No finished hardware benchmark or all-device support table is claimed in this launch draft. Local-model qualification and physical provider/device acceptance remain open.

The network and compatibility worksheet is ready for recording evidence. It contains no invented results.
