Combine Type, Scan, and Draw Notes

Use the input that fits each source, then group the resulting notes by topic rather than by capture method.

Practical workflow

The process, step by step

  1. 1Type definitions or exact wording.
  2. 2Scan an existing worksheet or paper page.
  3. 3Draw diagrams, arrows, or handwritten additions.
  4. 4Review each source for recognition errors.
  5. 5Place related notes in the same study group.

Example: one lecture, three inputs

Type the lecture outline, scan the distributed worksheet, and draw the diagram explained on the board. Organize all three under the course topic so the summary has the right context.
